Jane was born about 1360 in Douglas, South Lanarkshire, Scotland, the daughter of Archibald Douglas and Joanna de Moravia.
She died in 1421. The place is not known.
Her husband was sir Richard Rutherfoord. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their four known children were James (c1400->1452), John (?-?), Nichol (?-?) and Robert (1389-1436).
