Personal and Family Information

Adolf was born on 19 OCT 1658 in Grabow, the son of Adolf I Friedrich von Mecklenburg-Schwerin and Marie Katharine von Braunschweig-Dannenberg.

He died on 12 MAY 1708. The place is not known.

He had three marriages/partners. His first wife was Marie von Mecklenburg-Güstrow, who he married on 23 SEP 1684 in Güstrow. Their five known children were Adolf III Friedrich (1686-1752), Magdalene Amalie (1689-1689), Marie (1690-1690), Eleonore Wilhelmine (1691-1691) and Gustave Karoline (1694-1748).

His second wife was Johanna von Sachsen-Gotha-Altenburg, who he married on 20 JUN 1702 in Strelitz. They had no known children.

His third wife was Christiane Emilie von Schwarzburg-Sondershausen, who he married on 10 JUN 1705 in Strelitz. Their two known children were Sophie Christine Louise (1706-1708) and Karl Ludwig Friedrich (1708-1752).
