François was born in 1635 in France, the son of Nicolas Pelletier and Jeanne de Roussey.
He died before 1703. The place is not known.
He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Dorothée Amérindienne, who he married in APR 1660 in Tadoussac, La Haute-Côte-Nord, Côte-Nord QC . They had no known children.
His second wife was Marguerite Madeleine Morisseau, who he married on 26 SEP 1661 in Sillery QC . Their eight known children were Marie-Angélique (1662-1741), François-Xavier (1663-c1697), Marguerite-Agnès-Marie (1666-?), Geneviève (1668-?), Catherine (1672-1743), Michel (<1674-?), Jean-Baptiste-Pierre (1676-1757) and Louise (1678-1703).
