St Annes, Detroit, Baptism: The 20th August 1786 the undersigned priest baptized Louis born the 18th Aug of the legitimate marriage of Sieur Antoine Dequindre and Dame Catherine Desrivières the parents. The godfather was Sieur Bellecour Desruisseaux and the godmother was Dame Joncaire Chabert etc. Signed. François Bellecour, Antoine Dequindre, Judith Louise Joncaire, "illegible", Priest JWP Note: The godfather, Sieur François Bellecour Desruisseaux would have been a relative, brother or cousin of the infant's mother - both were members of the Trotier family. Tanguay Vol 8 records a François Xavier Trotier dit Belcourt-Desaulniers-Desruisseaux married Marie-Anne DeLusignan and them having had a son named François born in Detroit 5-10-1771 and dying there 8-11-1772. The godmother was Judith Louise Joncaire dit Chabert. Tanguay Vol 2 records Judith Gouin (1763-1790) married 12-2-1783 in Detroit to Philippe Chabert de Joncaire, chevalier.

Burton, City of Detroit, Michigan 1701-1922 Volume II, p. 1374: His wife was the daughter of Peter J. Desnoyers. He lived in 1820 on what is now the northwest corner of Jefferson Avenue and Griswold Street. In 1820 Dequindre was one of the commissioners on the Denison Palmer Estate.
