Antoine was born on 11 MAY 1757 in Détroit, Wayne Co. MI , the son of Louis Antoine Césaire Dagneau dit Fontenay and Louise Pawnee.
His wife is not known. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was François-Xavier (c1783-1828).
