He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Celeste Dussault-Dusseau, who he married on 10 NOV 1846 in Cocathédrale Saint-Antoine-de-Padoue de Longueuil, Montérégie QC . Their four known children were Agnès (1846-?), Esther (1849-?), Joseph (1851-?) and George Philip (1855-1934).
His second wife was Adeline Morrier, who he married on 25 AUG 1856. The place has not been found. Their three known children were Rose de Lima (1857-?), Marie Dorimene Rose de Lima (1859-?) and Marie Rose Anne (1860-?).
