He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Barbe Émard, who he married on 21 MAY 1648 in Église Saint-Barthélemy-Du-Grand-Temple (maint. cathédrale Saint-Louis), La Rochelle . Their three known children were Barbe-Delphine (1649-1702), Guillaume (1655-?) and Charles (1652-?).
His second wife was Louise Couillard, who he married on 3 NOV 1737 in Québec (ville) QC . They had no known children.
